CIF State CC Meet 2014 Boys Finish 7th

The Boys Cross Country team finished their season yesterday at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Meet. Competing in the State Meet for only the third time in school history the Seraph boys finished an impressive 7th in the state for Division 5.
The team broke many school records, Junior Isaiah Lozano finished 9th in the state with a time of 16:05, the highest a Seraph has finished at the State Meet and the lowest time at Woodward Park. Breaking both Anthony Allen’s (2011 20th place) and George Morris’ (2003 11th place) time of 16:17 school records. The team time of 85:08 placed them ahead of rival Thacher School and also set a school team record time, previous top team time was the 2003 team with a time of 85:48. The team is led by seniors Andy Kaisier, Chrisitan Gil, Joe Cook, Michael Dufresne and Sonny Vigil. JoJo Sandoval and Andrew Garcia also contributed to the success of the team. One of the most impressive feats of the day was all team members families made the drive to Fresno to cheer the team on! That is what we call F.A.M.I.L.Y!!
